The main objective of the study is to characterise the tourist potential of Poland, taking into account its regional diversity, and to assess the exploitation of this potential.

The time range of the study covers the years 2014-2018. The source of materials for the research includes data from Statistics Poland, the Central Office of Geodesy and Cartography, the National Heritage Institute and the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.
