The source of the published data is the national official business register REGON. Similarly as in the previous years, data on the number and structure of entities of the national economy as of the end of 2015 were presented in comparison with corresponding data as of the end of 2014. The data are given according to Polish Classification of Activities, selected organizational and legal forms and the expected number of employed persons by voivodships, powiats and gminas located in the border area of the Polish eastern border as well as areas located by individual border sections, i.e. with Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Selected data were presented in comparison with the country.
