In 2022, there were 14,476 sports clubs and 70 Polish sports associations. Compared to 2020, the number of sports clubs increased by 1.6%. With respect to 2021, the number of Polish representatives, judges and coaches holding licenses of the Polish sports associations increased, while the number of competitors and instructors decreased. Compared to 2018, the number of stadiums and sports fields for big games increased by 3.4%, sports halls and gyms by 5.2%, and indoor swimming pools by 5.7%.
