In 2024, there were 16 612 sports clubs and 70 sports associations in Poland. Compared to 2022, the number of sports clubs increased by 14.8%.

The sources of data used in the release are the results of surveys conducted by Statistics Poland on sports clubs (conducted every 2 years), Polish sports associations and physical culture organizations (conducted every year).
